Bench2Market Talks: Opportunities Through CROs – Seamless Strategic Collaboration

Contract research organizations (CROs) can extend your startup’s capabilities and speed up the development of your biomedical innovations. Funding (* New Opportunities)

*NOFO: Preclinical Proof of Concept Studies for Rare Diseases – LOI Due May 1

NOFO provides funding to conduct efficacy studies in an established rare disease preclinical model to demonstrate that a proposed therapeutic agent warrants further development. In addition to preclinical efficacy, accompanying pharmacodynamic and pharmacokinetic studies would be supported. Therapeutic agents include small molecules, biologics or biotechnology-derived products. The goal of this NOFO is to spur therapeutic development for a variety of rare diseases by advancing projects to the point where they would attract subsequent investment supporting full Investigational New Drug (IND) application development or progression to clinical trials in the case of repurposing or repositioning.

Phlebotomy 101 is a two-day introductory classroom and clinical hands-on training that teaches the techniques of venipuncture. Led by the GCRC nurses, the course is offered to Georgia-CTSA affiliated partners.

13th Annual Public Health Ethics Intensive: Black Bioethics, Artificial Intelligence and Policy – April 16-19

Abstracts are welcome from child health researchers who are residents, medical fellows, post-doctoral fellows (PhD), and junior faculty with a rank no higher than assistant professor. All abstracts are considered for poster presentations. Select abstracts will be chosen for oral presentation. Encore abstracts are welcomed.
