GCRCs Staff Help Emory Healthcare Administer COVID-19 Vaccine to Over 100,000 People in Georgia

Georgia CTSA Clinical Research Centers (GCRCs) staff have been busy supporting Emory Healthcare in vaccine administration. Emory’s COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic at Northlake Mall is one of the largest vaccination sites in Georgia. The clinic is currently vaccinating Emory Healthcare patients and health care workers, in addition to Emory faculty, staff and students. The GCRCs team encourages everyone to “Wear a Mask” and “Get Your Vaccine!”

Free Online Trainings for Clinical Research Professionals

Georgia CTSA and the University of Southern California Clinical and Translational Science Institute (SC CTSI) have created a new Online Course Catalog with free course and program offerings available to clinical research professionals. Participants earn a certificate or badge with contact hours (continuing education – CE) from an accredited provider upon completion of a course or a program (series of courses). Contact hours can be used to meet requirements for CRP certification renewal. The newest program, “Diversity in Clinical Trials in the Time of COVID-19”, is now available online.
