New ACTSI/Emory/Georgia Tech Coulter Program Director


The Emory/Georgia Tech Wallace H. Coulter Department of Biomedical Engineering (BME) announces Rachael Hagan as the new Coulter Program Director. The Coulter Program facilitates breakthrough translational research from engineer-clinician teams developing solutions for unmet clinical needs.

Hagan comes to us from the University of Washington, Seattle where she served as their Coulter Program Director nurturing several startups. She holds a master’s degree in medical regulatory affairs from the University of Washington. She will be based at BME at Emory School of Medicine and will work across Georgia Tech and Emory. Hagan will help identify, nurture, and facilitate the success of translational projects that meet unmet clinical needs using the unique and successful Coulter Model for translational success.
